These are just five of the many underappreciated gems from Winter 2024 that can be found in anime. Some anime can slip through the cracks, but check out these unknown treasures. These selected books have a range from whirlwind adventures to heartwarming tales, but each one promises something a little different and unforgettable. Do not miss these undervalued masterworks lying there regardless of how proficient you are in anime or whether you have just started exploring it. As we go on, you will soon discover that your laughter would turn into sobbing and life changing experiences as we find these hidden treasures of winter 2024.

 1Bucchigiri?!

It has been an outstanding start for the newest MAPPA original series directed by Hiroko Utsumi (Sk8 The Infinity). So far this comedy-action delinquent has been quite enjoyable and had one of the best openings this season even. It has got lively artwork, strong voice cast lineup and some really amazing turning point animation.

In the Winter 2024 lineup, this show is rated as number seventy-two percent by Anilist and ranked 7.48 on MyAnimeList which means it is among the lower half but in reality it should be placed at the top. The truth is that neither Bucchigiri?! nor any of its kind has brought new beginnings worthy of a wait until Saturday when there are other better options such as Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Apothecary Diaries!. But for you guys watching from other time zones, this can be an excellent series to hang over for the next day since there will be very few shows on Sundays this particular season.

2. Meiji Gekken: 1874

Meiji Gekken: 1874 is a historical anime series that involves coups, espionage, gangs, and political corruption if that’s your kind of thing. He’s voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura who did Satoro Gojo from Jutusu Kaisen; hence Shizuma Origasa was clearly underrated throughout this entire season.

It has been given a score 6.46 on MyAnimeList thereby making it one of the worst-rated shows for the season. There are plenty of things to watch out for in every episode because Crunchyroll releases new episodes every week running all through Sunday and is an original Anime series produced at Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab studio

3.  High Card Season 2

After discovering that his orphanage was on the brink of closing due to financial stress, Finn, who was living freely on the streets, set out for a casino with the aim of making a fortune. However, nothing could have prepared Finn for the nightmare that was awaiting him.

Once there, Finn encountered a car chase and bloody shootout caused by a man's “lucky” card. Finn will eventually learn what the shootout was about. The world order can be controlled by a set of 52 X-Playing cards with the power to bestow different superhuman powers and abilities to the ones that possess them. With these cards, people can access the hidden power of the “buddy” that can be found within themselves. There is a secret group of players called High Card, who have been directly ordered by the king of Fourland to collect the cards that have been scattered throughout the kingdom, while moonlighting as employees of the luxury car maker Pinochle.

Scouted to become the group's fifth member, Finn soon joins the players on a dangerous mission to find these cards. However, Who's Who, the rival car maker obsessed with defeating Pinochle, and the Klondikes, the infamous Mafia family, stand in the way of the gang. A frenzied battle amongst these card obsessed players, fueled by justice, desire, and revenge, is about to begin!

4.  Mr. Villain’s Day Off

If you’re looking for something that you can just sit back and enjoy with some warm fuzzy socks on these cold winter nights then look no further than Mr. Villain’s Day Off. The series is similar to Too Cute Crisis from the Spring 2023 season in many regards, including the overall plot and style of comedy. It currently has a 7.1 rating on MyAnimeList, a 69% on Anilist,  making it a prime candidate for one of the most underrated anime of the season.

Will it be a series that contends for anime of the season? Absolutely not. But does it deserve some more popularity for the audience it targets? Without a doubt. The fantasy slice-of-life series is co-animated by studios Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP with new episodes released every Sunday on Crunchyroll. Mr. Villains Day Off is listed with 12 episodes.

5. The Witch and the Beast

If it grows its audience like the way Undead Girl Murder Farce did in its last season, could The Witch and the Beast be a worthy contender for Anime of the Season? This is how much I have liked this anime since episode three. Last season, Kingdoms of Ruin was a disappointment for fans courtesy of Yokohama Animation Lab but this time round they are doing something unique.

The Witch and the Beast is set in a Victorian-style era and is a fantasy-action series with mages, beasts, and witches that have two colorful main characters Ashaf and Guideau who do serious jobs which are given to them by their clients that involve any type of magical conflict.

The mysteries they need to uncover are small parts of one huge puzzle that can help them find her powerful witch who cursed Guideau in her past. It has awesome visuals and lots of action/mystery so The Witch and the Beast became my must-watch from Winter 2024 anime for all fans regardless genre preferences. Crunchyroll lists it as having 12 episodes with each new one every Thursday, while currently on MyAnimeList it has a rating of 7.25 out of 9 based on 69% Anilist score along with one of the best openings this season !

I Request you Guy's to comment down your opinion on these Animes!🙌
