Starting March 29, Jujutsu Kaisen will grace Japanese cinemas with episodes 41–44 for a week. These episodes, constituting the Shibuya Incident arc, were a highlight of the second season of the TV anime adaptation. Fans attending this special screening will be treated to a unique experience as episode 17 (41 overall), titled “Thunderclap, Part 2,” will showcase fresh cuts and edited footage not seen in the original TV broadcast.
Moreover, episode 17 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (or 41 overall) will be part of the sixth Blu-ray/DVD volume, slated for release on March 20. The volume's cover will feature Toji Fushiguro. The subsequent three episodes will be bundled in the seventh volume, set to hit the shelves on April 17. The adaptation was handled by Studio MAPPA under the direction of Shota Goshozono.
Previously aired in December, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 comprised 23 episodes, with five belonging to the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, celebrated with 11 wins at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The remaining 18 episodes formed the gripping Shibuya Incident arc. The release schedule for
